Description

Naturally cultivated perilla oil, free from heavy metals, pesticides, additives, and non-GMO, cold-pressed from raw seeds, has been awarded the iTi International Taste Institute (known as the Michelin Guide for food) 2-star award for several consecutive years.

The biggest highlight of cold-pressed raw perilla oil is its extremely high Omega-3 fatty acid (alpha-linolenic acid, ALA) content, typically between 50% and 65%, which is one of the highest among common vegetable oils, even surpassing flaxseed oil.
Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA): It is an essential fatty acid that the human body cannot synthesize on its own and must be obtained from food. It can be partially converted into EPA and DHA (the main components of fish oil) in the body, which are crucial for health.

Anti-inflammatory and Immune Regulation
Principle: Omega-3 fatty acids are metabolized in the body into substances with anti-inflammatory activity, helping to balance the chronic inflammatory state caused by excessive Omega-6 (such as soybean oil, corn oil) in modern diets.
Benefits: Significantly helps improve inflammatory problems related to an overactive immune system, such as allergic rhinitis, asthma, eczema, dermatitis, and arthritis.

Promoting Cardiovascular Health

Principle:
Helps reduce bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides: Helps clean blood vessels and prevent atherosclerosis.
Helps increase good cholesterol (HDL).
Helps stabilize blood pressure: Helps relax blood vessels and maintain stable blood pressure.

Antithrombotic: Reduces platelet aggregation and prevents blood vessel blockage.
Benefits: Combined, these effects can help prevent cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction, and stroke.

Brain Health and Nervous System Protection
Principle: About 60% of the brain is fat, and DHA is an important component of brain nerve cell membranes and the retina. The ALA in perilla oil can be converted into DHA.

Benefits:
Improves memory and cognitive function: Helps improve concentration and prevent brain degeneration.
Relieves mood and has antidepressant effects: Omega-3 promotes the function of neurotransmitters such as serotonin, helping to stabilize mood.
Potential preventive effects on neurodegenerative diseases: Such as Alzheimer's disease.

Beauty and Skin Care, Improving Skin Problems
Principle: Its anti-inflammatory properties can improve skin inflammation from within the body. At the same time, high-quality fatty acids help maintain the integrity of skin cell membranes and lock in moisture.

Benefits:
Directly improves dryness, roughness, eczema, atopic dermatitis, and other issues.
Keeps the skin moist and elastic.
Antioxidant, delaying skin aging.

Antioxidant and Anti-Allergy
Principle: Perilla oil itself is rich in phytochemicals, such as rosmarinic acid and luteolin, which have strong antioxidant capabilities and can清除 free radicals. Rosmarinic acid, in particular, is known for its anti-allergic properties and can inhibit the release of histamine.
Benefits: Reduces allergy symptoms and protects body cells from oxidative stress.

Aiding Digestion and Gut Health
Principle: It has mild antibacterial and antispasmodic effects, which can relieve gastrointestinal discomfort, bloating, and indigestion.
Benefits: Provides some relief for inflammatory bowel diseases, such as irritable bowel syndrome.
Special Note: The Importance of "Cold-Pressed" and "Raw Consumption"

Cold-Pressed: Indicates that the oil is extracted at low temperatures without high heat or chemical solvent treatment. This maximizes the retention of heat-sensitive nutrients (Omega-3, antioxidants, vitamins) in perilla oil.

Raw Consumption: Omega-3 fatty acids are very unstable and easily oxidize and deteriorate when exposed to high heat, producing harmful free radicals. Therefore, perilla oil is absolutely not suitable for frying, stir-frying, or deep-frying.

How to Use?

Cold Dishes: Add directly to salads or cold dishes.
Dressing: Drizzle over soups, steamed eggs, tofu, or blanched vegetables.
Direct Consumption: About 1–2 teaspoons (5–10 ml) daily, can be taken directly.
Mix with Yogurt or Juice.

Cold-pressed raw perilla oil is a functional cooking oil with a wide range of benefits. Its high Omega-3 content and strong anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties are its most outstanding advantages.

It is particularly suitable for the following groups:

People at high risk of cardiovascular disease
Those with allergic constitutions or skin problems
Office workers and seniors concerned with brain health and mood management
People who eat out frequently and have insufficient Omega-3 intake

Place of Origin: South Korea
